Winchester Poetry Festival Venues
The Winchester Discovery Centre will be the hub of the events which make up the Winchester Poetry Festival, however there may also be events taking place at other venues and locations around Winchester.
Winchester Discovery Centre
The Winchester Discovery Centre is made up of a high quality library, exhibition space, art gallery & studio and performance hall. The centre also has a cafe and shop.
The Discovery Centre will be the hub of the Festival and the main venue for events throughout the weekend.
Workshops will take place in the Learning Spaces and readings in the Performance Hall.
Theatre Royal Winchester
Situated at the cultural heart of Winchester alongside the Discovery Centre, Theatre Royal Winchester presents a dynamic programme of drama, music, dance, comedy, children’s theatre and pantomime.
Although not a venue for any activity at the 2018 festival Theatre Royal Winchester will provide the Box Office for the festival.
Winchester School of Art
The Winchester School of Art provides an inspiring venue for our workshop with Eileen Pun.
A short walk from the Discovery Centre the workshop will take place outdoors if fine or in the cafe otherwise.
