How To Get Here 

The majority of events for Winchester Poetry Festival 2023 will take place at The ARC

The ARC, Jewry St, Winchester SO23 8SB

 

Road

From the M3, leave J11 when coming from the south or J9 from north and follow signs to the city centre. There is limited pay-and-display parking at Winchester Discovery Centre, including 3 designated disabled spaces in the car park. Blue Badge holders may park in any space within the car park so long as they display their blue badge. Other local public car parks are well signposted.

 

Bus

The Park and ride stops a few minutes walk away at the Southern end of Jewry St. A bus stop is located right outside our main entrance - buses stopping there are, 1, 2, 4,5,6, 7,10,X24/25/26, 68, 86, 95/95A/96/96A, 99/X99.

 

Train

The ARC is a few minutes walk from Winchester station along City Road then turn right into Jewry Street.

Where to Stay

You can choose from a variety of accommodation options in the heart of Winchester's city centre and in the surrounding Hampshire countryside.

 

There are top-class hotels for an extra special stay or a wide range of both bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation.
