POP UP POETRY

Poet in Bookshop
Pop-up Poetry

Throughout the Poet on the High Street project Jonny Fluffypunk has 'popped up' at different locations and shops around Winchester to gather poems, share poems or read poems he had prepared earlier.

Having written poems about a number of shops and their owners Jonny did a tour of the shops to read the recipients their poems. These impromptu poetry performances were much enjoyed by shop staff and customers alike.

A performative walk around Winchester

Saturday 9 October:
11:00am - 1:00pm

Following the fun that we had on the Heritage Open Days Hidden History Walks our Poet on the Hightreet, Jonny Fluffypunk, will be doing an extended 'People's Poetry Walk' around Winchester during the festival weekend.

It's free and it's fun and the poems have all been discovered during Jonny's residency.
