In order to maintain the success and sustainability of the organisation, we are seeking new trustees with relevant experience and skill, and with a commitment to help steer the organisation going forward.
If you have a passion for poetry in all its many and diverse forms and for the power and playfulness of words and feel you can make a creative and strategic contribution to the board of trustees, we would like to hear from you.
Trustees serve in a voluntary capacity but have the joy of supporting Winchester Poetry Festival to be a round table for poetry where everyone is welcome. We are a poetry organisation that does all sorts of things - from hosting our much-acclaimed biennial festival in Winchester, to our popular international Winchester Poetry Prize competition, to one-off events, to collaborations with other organisations and to our wider work with schools and community organisations.
The board of Trustees wishes to build the festival’s reputation for surprising and delighting its audiences, fostering new partnerships, maintaining a robust financial operation, and broadening the audience base.
