Artistic Directors

 

Sasha Dugdale is a poet, translator and editor. She has published three collections of poetry (Carcanet), two collections of translations of Russian poetry and also translations of new Russian plays for the Royal Court Theatre and the RSC. She has been a mentor for younger black and Asian poets in the Complete Works project, was guest editor of Salt’s Best British Poetry 2012 and is editor of the magazine Modern Poetry in Translation.

Sarah Hesketh is a poet and literature programmer. For five years she was the Assistant Director at the literature and free speech charity English PEN and since 2012 has worked as a freelance project manager for organisations including the Poetry Translation Centre, The Reading Agency and Free Word, managing projects including World Book Night and International Translation Day.  From 2015-17 she developed and co-managed the Mixed Borders Residency for London Parks and Gardens Trust.
